Spectralis OCT
The Heidelberg Spectralis OCT remains a gold standard for structural retinal and optic nerve imaging. It combines high-resolution scans with eye-tracking and multimodal imaging, and represents one of the first major platforms that shaped how clinicians document and monitor macular and optic nerve disease with precision.
NIDEK OCTA RS-1
The RS-1 OCT angiography system marked an important step in the evolution of OCT, allowing clinicians to visualise retinal and choroidal microvasculature without the need for dye injection. As part of the development of OCTA technology, it highlighted how vascular imaging could be incorporated into routine practice.
TOPCON OCTA Triton 2
The Triton 2 further advances OCTA by integrating swept-source technology, providing deeper penetration into the choroid and faster acquisition speeds. This platform reflects the continuing development of OCT angiography, improving reliability, image quality, and clinical utility for macular and retinal vascular disease.
Eyelight
Eyelight is an innovative light-based therapy platform based on photobiomodulation. This treatment has dual roles in ophthalmic practice. It is used for dry AMD, where photobiomodulation may slow functional decline, and for dry eye disease, where targeted light therapy can improve meibomian gland function and tear film stability.
Laser Facilities (Related to cataract, glaucoma and retinal treatment)
Our clinic is also equipped with both YAG and argon lasers, ensuring comprehensive laser capability. The YAG laser is used for posterior capsulotomy and peripheral iridotomy, while the argon laser allows retinal photocoagulation and focal macular laser therapy. These remain essential therapeutic tools alongside pharmacologic and imaging advances.
